TESTING PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Southwest Virginia EMS Council provides certification testing for prospective and current emergency medical technicians to maintain and advance their career in emergency medical services. This section provides important information about the SWVAEMS testing program including test schedules, test site information, and policies. BECOMING A CTS EVALUATOR
Candidates interested in serving as a CTS Evaluator must complete specific requirements. Minimum educational requirements are established by the Office of EMS, and the Council has established specific eligibility and orientation requirements for prospective candidates. Please contact Field Coordinator Josh Wilkinson at the Council office for more information. Evaluators must sign a contract agreement with the Council in order to be utilized at our CTS events.
