Field EMS Liaison--Part Time
The Field EMS Liaison facilitates relationship, communication, and education between the Southwest Virginia EMS Council and regional stakeholders. A key element of this position is fostering and maintaining collaborative and positive working relationships with EMS providers, agencies, hospitals, local government leaders, and other response and planning organizations. The Field Liaison will participate on key organizational initiatives (such as regional planning processes, performance improvement initiatives, educational programs, and ongoing and special projects). In addition, the Liaison will identify needs and ensure the provision of technical assistance as needed to support EMS agencies and providers.
This position will primarily serving the eastern end of our service area (Carroll/Galax/Grayson/Wythe/Bland). The position will be based in Grayson County with extensive travel within the defined service area as well as routine travel within other areas of the region. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Program Support Specialist--PRN (Part Time)
The Program Support Specialist provides administrative support for specific council programs. Job duties may include include typing documents, sending emails, answering phones, and maintaining records. The Program Support Specialist-Education will also process paperwork and perform specific fiscal functions as well. Prior experience with billing, invoicing, and payment processing is required. The Program Support Specialist will also assist with other council programs and initiatives as directed.
This position will be based out of the Abingdon office with possible remote options.
